Camping Alpes Dauphiné

Fresh mountain air, the sun on your face and a view to die for. Camping Alpes Dauphiné really is a feast for the senses. This welcoming mountain campsite lies on the southern flank of the Col Bayard. Head into the countryside and visit the lovely Alpine town of Gap. Or just spend the day by the edge of the swimming pool and do absolutely nothing!

    Some tips for your holiday at Camping Alpes Dauphiné in Gap

    • Gap is a lively city on the route Napoléon and is well worth a visit. There's a beauitful cathedral here and some pleasant, narrow streets to explore.
    • The Massif of Le Dévoluy is a nice idea for a day out.
    • Not far away there are two reservoirs of Serre Poncon and Sautet.
    • A little further afield, but certainly worthwhile is a cycling tour across one of the mountain passes of the Galibier (between Briancon and Alpe d'Huez) or La Cayolle.
    • Alternatively go mountain biking, rafting or paragliding in the area.
    • If you follow the Route Napoleon via the N85 northwards, you will eventually arrive in the city of Grenoble. This is a beautiful city located at the foot of the mountains that teems with art and interesting architecture.
