"A fine family campsite in a rural location. Just a half hour drive from the D-Day landing beaches. An ideal base for exploring Normandy. Very good facilities at the campsite. There is a nice pool and the playground with a BMX track is the kids favourite."

- A visit to the D-Day landing beaches is highly recommended. The closest one is Omaha Beach, not far from the battlefield of Point du Hoc.
- The 360 degree cinema at Arromanches feels like a time machine, taking you back to 6 June 1944. It is as if you were there yourself on D-Day. Very impressive.
- Visit Mont Saint Michel, the iconic abbey on the rocky island just off the coast. In the evening the abbey is beautifully illuminated, it looks like a faiytale castle!
