This area bursts with beautiful old cities and impressive nature, and at the same time a daytrip to the sea is also an option!

    Some tips for your holiday at Camping Coteau de la Marine in Montagnac-Montpezat

    • Do you want to see a natural wonder? The Gorges du Verdon, also nicknamed the Grand Canyon of France, is located 30 km from the campsite. This is the second largest canyon in Europe. You should absolutely visit this breath-taking canyon. So rent a boat or a kayak and experience the highlight of your journey!
    • Cities, cities and even more cities. There are way too many to be able to visit! The historical village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, one of the most beautiful villages of France, is situated less than 20 km from the campsite. The closest city is the historical city of Aix-en-Provence. A bit further you’ll find the world famous places Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Marseille. So: time to get up and go!
    • The cascade de Sillans are also definitely worth a visit!
    • The nearby Lac de Sainte Croix is the largest reservoir in France. The turqoise blue water invites you to make a trip by canoe, pedalo or electric boat. In this way you can admire the beautiful area from the water.
    • Do you fancy something more active? Then you can always go to the climbing forest where you can also enjoy the view from the cable car.
    • A day trip to Quinson will not disappoint. Visit the Provencal market and then stop for a drink or bite to eat at one of the many cosy restaurants. Combine this with a visit to the prehistoric museum.
