It's surrounded by waterfalls and deep cliffs with a 200m high Kölnbrein dam. At an altitude of 1933 metres, this is the highest man-made reservoir in Austria.
- Visit the Mölltaler glacier by cable car or challenge your kids on the summer bob sleigh track.
- The medieval city of Gmünd is also worth a visit with its old castle and, for car enthusiasts, there's also the Porsche museum.

Our view
Lovely campsite with plenty to do for the children. Fabulous mountain area on a 15 km drive over the Malta Hochalmstrasse which gives a good view of Austria's highest dam.
