Camping L'Hirondelle, Oteppe

This is an area where every village has its own castle and so has Oteppe. Next to this castle is the top class camping L'Hirondelle in a very romantic setting. Vacansoleil has its own exclusive area on the site.

Why camping L'Hirondelle?
  • Children will love the great playground. For those looking for a spot of relaxation there are three trout lakes set under century-old trees.
  • This campsite has a nice swimming pool, a football field, a multi-sports ground and tennis courts. Next to the snack bar is a covered play hall for older children.
  • There's a large fireworks display on the 20th July and on the 15th August a hot air balloon festival.
  • You can enjoy dinner in style here inside the castle, which has a lovely atmosphere. The historic hall with the original 18th century wall paintings just has to be seen.

The surrounding area of camping L'Hirondelle, Oteppe

You will find Oteppe in the French speaking part of Belgium, on the edge of the Ardennes. An amazing area with nice walking and cycling routes.

Some tips for your holiday at camping L'Hirondelle in Oteppe:
  • Huy is a beautiful, mediaeval city on the shores of the Meuse river with a pretty town centre and a large fortress high above the river.
  • Also interesting is the Benedict Abbey of Maredsous, where you can taste the original beer initially brewed by the monastery.
  • More ideas: visit the famous Han caves, canoe on Lesse river and explore the smallest town in Belgium: Durbuy.
  • Plopsa Indoor Hasselt is 82 kilometres away; Plopsa Coo is 108 kilometres.
