Camping Warsberg, Saarburg

This is a friendly well-maintained campsite located in a beautiful area. The spectacular views over the surrounding region make it one of the most popular campsites in the area. The campsite is ideal for families who want not only plenty of activities and interesting things to see and do but who also want a peaceful relaxing location. You will find excellent facilities including an indoor pool and a sauna, which the whole family will enjoy. Other activities include tennis, table tennis, mini golf and a children's playground. Excellent meals are served at the campsite restaurant or there is a snack bar for light refreshments.

The surrounding area of camping Warsberg, Saarburg

Camping Warsberg is situated on a plateau next to the River Saar. Here the river flows through steep hills planted with vines bearing the well-known grape varieties such as Riesling and Muller Thurgau. The campsite can be reached by cable car from the centre of Saarburg taking you 200 metres down to the town for a small charge (and fortunately it can also take you back up). From the campsite there is an excellent view over the vine covered hills and the town of Saaarburg. This is a very special town with a ruined castle and a beautiful waterfall, which is 20 metres high. Another city not to be missed is that of Trier where you will be able to visit the Roman remains of the famous Porta Niagra one of the four Trier city gates, or you can just simply browse around the wide selection of shops and restaurants.
