Camping Feddet Camping, Fakse Ladeplads

Feddet Camping is one of the largest campsites in Denmark. A pathway leads to the sandy beach, just 100m away. During high season the campsite has an extensive activity programme based mainly at the beach. There is a good bistro on site as well as all the modern facilities needed for a fantastic holiday.

A scenic nature reserve situated on a peninsular near the well-known resort of Fakse Ladeplads. This wonderful, natural environment is so unspoilt it seems very like the western view of Jylland. There are many places suitable for day trips within easy reach of the campsite. For example, the huge cliffs of Møn and Stevns, or the limestone quarry of Fakse. There are also numerous charming small towns with narrow streets with old houses and pleasant shops and restaurants. Copenhagen, Denmark's capital city, is not too far away, and here you can visit the Tivoli gardens, the old harbour and the little mermaid statue. You can even travel to Sweden via a bridge/tunnel combination which was built in the year 2000. For something different try the amusement park BonBon-Land, which is always a hit with the children. The region of Sjaelland is also home to many old castles and manor houses with beautiful flower gardens. The tulip gardens of the castles of Naestved and Gavnø are especially pretty. This region is perfect for bike rides through the picturesque villages with their old timber frame houses with thatched roofs and the beautiful old churches.
