Camping Le Port de Lacombe, Flagnac

The small camping Le Port de Lacombe is situated beside the Lot, but there's also a man-made recreation lake.

Why camping Le Port de Lacombe?
  • The lake has a spacious sunbathing lawn where you can spend a relaxing afternoon whilst the kids amuse themselves on the waterslides that plunge into the lake.
  • The campsite has a bar-restaurant that sells fresh bread each morning.
  • During the high season all sorts of exciting activities are organised.

The surrounding area of camping Le Port de Lacombe, Flagnac

The Lot flows through France via a limestone valley. This means there's a vast number of caves that can be explored. Most well known are those of Padirac, but there are a lot more. Flagnac is located southwest of Aurillac on a bend in the Lot.

Some tips for your holiday at camping Le Port de Lacombe in Flagnac:
  • A lovely walking area, but also good for cycling and horse riding. Renting a canoe is also possible.
  • This is the place to be for visits to cities like Figeac, Capdenac and Decazeville with its amusing mine museum.
  • In the old medieval city of Conques you will find an almost intact historic centre that is dominated by a Romanesque abbey. This was also known to the pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela.
  • A nice day out with the kids is a trip to Château du Colombier, with a medieval Garden of Eden with all sorts of games.
