Camping La Baie des Anges has been built around an old grove in one of the prettiest parts of the Var, just a stone's throw from the Mediterranean.

The coastline between Marseille and La Ciotat is known as the fjord coast of the Mediterranean. The fjords are also known as 'calanques' and are narrow, irregular bays with steep rocky walls. Good examples are 'Bec de l'Aigle' (eagle's beak) and the huge cliff of Cap Canaille. The pleasant Mediterranean climate make them perfect for sunbathing and the idyllic small beaches can often only be reached by boat.
