Camping Les Pins, Payrac-en-Quercy

The name of camping Les Pins refers to the pine trees, which are really magnificent here. A pleasant, attractive and centrally located campsite run by enthusiastic management.

Why camping Les Pins?
  • The countryside here is still, for the main part, unspoilt. Fortunately, they have kept this in mind when building the campsite. It looks fun-filled, spacious and pleasant. The reception building could easily be part of the setting of a fairytale forest.
  • Although the campsite isn't big, there's plenty of room for a good range of facilities. These include a charming restaurant and a good swimming pool complex with slides.

The surrounding area of camping Les Pins, Payrac-en-Quercy

Payrac is a small town, about 15 kilometres south of the well-known Souillac on the Dordogne. Situated on high, you have a magnificent view across the Dordogne valley.

Some tips for your holiday at camping Les Pins in Payrac-en-Quercy:
  • Souillac is a beautiful provincial city. Its former abbey Sainte Marie stands next to the contrasting Musée de l'Automate et de la Robotique. The centre has a pleasant main street with all sorts of shops, bars and restaurants.
  • Further south, located on a hill, you will find the medieval settlement town of Gourdon, which is definitely worth a visit.
  • Even older are the Padirac caves, and on the way you will pass the well-known rock city of Rocamadour. Even though it can be especially busy with tourists in the high season, it is still one of France's most beautiful historic monuments.
