• There's also a swimming pool at the campsite with a section for young children.
• The campsite is run by an enthusiastic family and they work hard to maintain the friendly atmosphere.

The Périgord Noir is one of the most beautiful parts of the Dordogne region. The rivers are full of fish, the forests invite you to stroll through them and the black (for 'Noir') is for the colour of the truffles that are found in the forests. You'll find these in the region's cuisine - they love good food here.

• There are pleasant cities and pretty villages everywhere and history abounds, especially in the old caves near Lascaux and Les Eyzies.
• A few kilometres from the campsite is the Vézère river overlooked by the Saint Léon castle. The river is a great place for fishing and you can also rent canoes.
• A bit further away is Sarlat with its busy weekly market.
