Camping Europa, Alsóörs / Palóznak

Camping Europa is situated beside Lake Balaton. There's a waterslide that ends in the lake itself and the campsite has a swimming pool too.

• This campsite has a large sunbathing area and volleyball field. The beach volleyball competitions are especially popular. There's a grassy sun bathing area where you can enjoy a refreshing drink or ice cream.
• At the entrance to the site you'll find Club Europa, a meeting point for teenagers. This is also where the entertainment takes place for young children.
• There's a snack bar and souvenir shop a short distance away. A little further away is a street with lots of places to sample tasty Hungarian food.

Alsóörs and Palóznak are two villages that have developed together, located on the northern bank of the lake. The railway line, which also runs along this bank, provides plenty of possibilities for day trips.

• Visit Balatonfüred by rail or stop off at one of the local villages inbetween.
• The lake is almost 80km in length and the northern bank has lots of natural beauty. You can sample the local wine everywhere.
• The surroundings are ideal for pleasant walks through unexplored countryside.
• Choose from a wide range of water activities in the shallow lake. The gently shelving beaches make it ideal for young children.
