For an interesting day, visit the mining museum in Alès where you can learn about the illustrious history of the land. The city of Montélimar is also well worth a visit. Here you can see how the famous nougat is made and have a taste of this wonderful delicacy. For the more active among you, take advantage of the landscape and try mountain biking or rafting in the area around the campsite, or take an adventurous hike along steeprock faces and winding rivers. If you need to catch your breath, stop off in one of the pretty villages and relax in the stunning surroundings.
