Camping Sassabanek, Iseo

Sassabanek is situated just a few hundred metres from the small, ancient town of Iseo that can be found on the southern shores of Lake Iseo. Actually, it's in the lake as the campsite is surrounded by water - it's great fun to mess around in a boat here.

Why camping Sassabanek?
  • Water is the key word at this campsite. There are several heated pools, and of course the lake where you can swim too.
  • Plenty of options for water sports like sailing, canoeing and surfing.
  • There's a good range of entertainment in the evenings, but also many quiet pathways around the campsite where you can get away from it all.

The surrounding area of camping Sassabanek, Iseo

Lake Iseo is one of the lesser-known lakes in Northern Italy. It's much smaller than the nearby Lake Garda and has a large island in the middle called Monte Isola.

Some tips for your holiday at camping Sassabanek in Iseo:
  • Spend some time in the city of Iseo with its pretty square beside the lake.
  • Brescia with many attractions, like the old 12th century church. This is where the famous Mille Miglia race starts and you'll find several pleasant squares, terraces and restaurants here.
  • From Brescia it's an easy drive to the lovely cities of Verona, Bergamo or Milan. A tip for a rainy day - visit the Outlet Franciacorte shopping centre.
