Camping Arizona, Salsomaggiore Terme

Italy has it's own Arizona but you won't find any cowboys here. However there are plenty of thermal baths, as suggested by the name of the village Salsomaggiore Terme.

Why camping Arizona?
  • Situated in a region with several health resorts and thermal springs.
  • Camping Arizona is located on a green hill with enough trees to provide the needed shade.
  • The campsite's main attraction is the pool area with its lovely view over the fairy - tale landscape. It has several pools with the added luxury of jacuzzis, which provide fun for all ages. For a few euros you can buy a ticket for several rides on the huge water slide - it's great fun for the whole family.

The surrounding area of camping Arizona, Salsomaggiore Terme

Emilia - Romagna is an Italian province with Veneto and Lombardia to the north and Tuscany to the south. It is often passed by in a tourist's rush to reach the more popular neighbouring provinces, but that's completely undeserved. The hilly countryside has so much beauty to offer and is often as beautiful as Tuscany.

Some tips for your holiday at camping Arizona in Salsomaggiore Terme:
  • Emilia - Romagna also has excellent nature reserves, such as the Parco Regionale dello Strione which is only a few kilometres from the campsite.
  • Visit the city of Parma, world famous for its ham, the cheese, film director Bertolucci and, of course, the master of Italian opera - Giuseppe Verdi.
  • There's also Piacenza with its 12th century cathedral, Cremona (centre for famous violin makers) and Modena (ferrari fans will love it here).
  • The Po river valley is perfect for wonderful cycling trips.
