Camping Mas St. Josep, Santa Cristina d'Aro

The centre piece of this campsite is the huge swimming pool complex. It has an island in the middle that is reached via a small bridge and there is also a smaller pool for younger guests. For beach lovers Playa d'Aro and S' Agaro are only a couple of miles away. This campsite is also perfect for sports enthusiasts as it has a large sports centre where, for a small charge, you can play squash and tennis. There is also a fitness room and sauna. A good programme of entertainment is organised during the busy months with the animation team catering to the needs of all ages. The friendly bar and restaurant are pleasant places to spend a relaxing evening after a busy day's sport or sightseeing.

The surrounding area of camping Mas St. Josep, Santa Cristina d'Aro

Santa Cristina d'Aro is to be found just a couple of miles inland from Playa d'Aro. The two towns almost seem to merge but the pace of life is much slower on the campsites situated further from the centre of Playa d'Aro. Playa d'Aro is a bustling resort with a wide promenade full of bars, cafés and restaurants. For the complete opposite try the pretty harbour village of Sant Feliu with its small promenade and intimate harbour area. There are many activities available in the nearby area such as horse riding, golf and karting. Water based activities include sailing and wind surfing. As always, we recommend a day trip to Barcelona. The easiest way to reach the city is to take the car to one of the small nearby villages, such as Calden de Malavella, that have a rail connection.
