Camping Elfenmeer, Herkenbosch

Camping Elfenmeer is a large site but nicely set out so it avoids looking too large. The Otterbeek stream divides the campsite in two, with safe bridges connecting the two sections.

Why camping Elfenmeer?
  • Children will have lots of water fun at the sandy beach near the leisure lake or in one of the heated swimming pools. There's several slides and a seperate children's pool. At the leisure lake there's a popular pirates ship plus lots of other play apparatus. There's also a fountain and a large sunbathing area. Enjoy a game of volleyball at the beach.
  • The facilities are of high standard and include a friendly restaurant and a pleasant terrace with good view of the lake and swimming pools.
  • Campsite guest have free entrance to the covered tropical pool paradise at camping De Berckt 40km away.


The surrounding area of camping Elfenmeer, Herkenbosch

Herkenbosch is only a few kilometres south-east of Roermond, between the river Roer and the National Nature Park De Meinweg that spills over the Dutch border into Germany. This nature reserve offers lovely walking and cycling paths with an informative tourist centre.
