Why Camping Isamar?
- Swimmer's heaven with a beach and water slides!
- 3 restaurants and a gelateria with real Italian ice cream. Mmmmm!
- Take the water taxi from Chioggia to the magical city of Venice
Water? There is plenty of it on camping Isamar, spread between no less than 8 swimming and play pools. There is also a park belonging to the campsite where you can enjoy a pleasant walk.
For those who are not easily satisfied, here is a holiday destination full of superlatives. Isola Verde is a stretch of land between the mouth of the Brent and Adige, just south of the Venice lagoon.
"A water paradise with many slides. There is also a riding school. To catch a ferry to Venice you must go to the beautiful city of Chioggia (9km)."

A lovely well run camp site, lots of swimming pools, the kids loved it. Not much to do though if weather is bad. Chioggia was nice, like a small Venice only a 5 minutes drive away. Venice is worth a visit about an hour's drive or 2hr boat ride and we also visited a fortified walled town called Cittadellia 1.5km walk along the battlements. 1hour 30 by car. I wore long sleeves and trousers in the evening because of the mosquito. Still we could have done with a few more days.
