    Family Camping fun by the beach in the Algarve

Stroll through its pretty historic centre, with ancient Moorish walls and then stop in the harbour for some lunch. The delightful and bustling family resort of Quarteira is right by the campsite. Looking for a more lively affair? Then head for the energetic town of Albufeira, with its stunning beaches, vast selection of restaurants and a buzzing nightlife. For culture and tranquility go to Faro. Capital of the Algarve and a delightful, historical city. Tavira, Silves Loulé and Sagres are also lovely towns worth a visit!

    Outdoor Activities in The Algarve near your campsite

    There are so many great outdoor activities to do in The Algarve, close to your campsite. Go dolphin watching from Albufeira, try some sailing, kayaking and snorkeling in Lagos or take a sightseeing cruise from Faro through the Ria Formosa Natural Park, a birdwatchers paradise. Alternatively hire a bike at the campsite and cycle along the coastline to find your perfect beach. Fancy some challenging hiking with spectacular views? Head for Cape St Vincent and take the Telheiro trail. You’ll be rewarded with rugged landscapes, dramatic cliffs and wild Atlantic waves!

    Things to see and do near the campsite in The Algarve

    If you’re staying at a campsite on the Algarve there are plenty of fun things to do with the kids. A visit to the Zoomarine Algarve in Guia is a must. Have fun watching the dolphins and sealions, laze on the beach, whizz down the waterslides then enjoy a relaxing picnic on the beautiful lawns. Thrill seekers head for the Aquashow Park in Quarteira. It’s got a rollercoaster waterslide and a great restaurant! Stroll around the delightful marina of Vilamoura and find that perfect gift to take home with you. Planning to do some serious cooking? Visit the Quarteira fish market early in the morning. Everything is fresh from the boat and perfect for a lovely dinner back home at your campsite.
