Some tips for your holiday at Camping King's in Palamós
- Palamós (2 km) is a well-known fishing village in this region. Stroll through the charming old town, visit the fishermen's museum and then choose from all those nice fish restaurants in the harbour. Also handy: a public bus to the town departs from the bus station at the campsite.
- Travel up the coast to admire the wonderful botanical gardens of Cap Roig (14km). Stop at the famous medieval castle and treat yourself to some stunning views of the glimmering Mediterranean sea.
- Art lovers head for the Dalí museum in Figueras (62km) to witness the immense creativity of this famous artist. The museum itself is a work of art and a pleasure to explore.
- For a little history and culture head for the ancient Roman excavations of Empúries (41km) close to the village of Sant Martí d'Empúries and the pretty historical village of Ullastret (23km).
