What dimension are the different types of luxury mobile homes?
For all dimensions of the different type of mobile homes see pages 18 - 25 of the Vacansoleil brochure, or on the website under the sub heading 'mobile home'. You can also find this information in the special remarks section on the campsite page.

Do any of the mobile homes have three bedrooms?
We offer the Waikiki mobile homes, which have 3 bedrooms, at several of our campsites. Please see our website for further details or look uo pages 24 & 25 in our brochure.

Do all the mobile homes have a wooden veranda or terrace?
Vacansoleil mobile homes normally have a terrace or a wooden veranda. A terrace is at ground level and can be made up of different materials, for example wood or pavers. A wooden veranda is always elevated. All Tahiti 1 mobile homes have a covered wooden veranda. Vacansoleil is providing an increasing number of mobile homes with wooden verandas. Sometimes a mobile home may not have a terrace or wooden veranda. In these cases garden furniture is placed in front of the mobile home. You can see full details of accommodation above the price panel at the bottom of the campsite page, although you can always ask one of our operators for advice.

What is the difference between accommodation type 1 and 2?
This may differ per campsite. The differences are stated in the price list.

What inventory is included in a luxury mobile home?
The standard inventory in a mobile home consists of plates, pans, glasses and cutlery. When abroad there are some items that you may use in your kitchen at home may not be present in your accommdation, for example a microwave or oven.
The presence of items such as an electric coffee maker, microwave or television differs on each campsite. Plus, the amp level for a tent, mobile home or pitch is often limited. We therefore advise you not to use electric barbecues or any other electric devices that need lots of power. -
What size is the luxury bungalow tent?
They are approximateley 5 x 5 meters.

What is the difference between a Navajo and Ottawa tent?
The Ottawa bungalow tent is an adapted version of the origianl Vacansoleil Navajo bungalow tent. It has a solid, adjustable wooden floor for more comfort, and upright canvas walls for more interior space. This also has a different layout with four sleeping compartments. However, it is just as good as the popular Navajo tent at a low price.

What will I find in my Vacansoleil bungalow tent?
A Vacansoleil tent has a very complete layout. For example, your kitchen has a three burner hob and a full size fridge. Of course there's also plates, glass ware, cutlery, cooking gear and a full set of pans. We also provide electricity: your tent is well lit and the refrigerator is connected as it should be. The sleeping compartments have real beds and mattresses of north-European brands. The length of the double bed and both single beds is 190 cm. The two other single beds are 180 cm long. You must take your own blankets, sheets, pillow and pillowcases. Every Vacansoleil tent has its own complete garden set with two tables, four plastic chairs, two adjustable chairs and a parasol. The campsite's sanitary buildings have excellent shower, washing and toilet facilities.

Will my accommodation have the same interior as shown in the brochure and on the website?
Photographs of the interior give an impression of what to expect in your accommodation. However not all interiors are the same and décor and furniture may differ.

Will I need to pack bed linen?
Most of our mobile homes have a bedroom with a double bed. We normally provide a blanket for a double bed as standard but sometimes there may be a duvet instead. However, you will need to bring double sheets and two pillowcases. The other bedrooms feature single beds with blankets. You will need to bring bed linen for the single beds. If there are duvets instead of blankets this will be stated in the price grid at the bottom of the campsite page in our brochure.

Can I reserve bed linen?
You can do this for several of our campsites and where this is possible it may be useful to contact one of our operators regarding costs. On other campsites the linen hire is compulsory. If this is the case it will be indicated in the special remarks above the price panel at the bottom of the campsite page.

Can we place a child's camp bed in one of the bedrooms?
The space between the two beds is not wide enough for a child's camp bed. However it is an option to tip up one of the single beds or put it aside, thus creating room for the camp bed. Our sales team can inform you if this will be an option in your accommodation.

Does all the accommodation have a refrigerator?
Yes. All mobile home types and the Vacansoleil bungalow tents have a fridge with a freezer section.

Does all the accommodation have a heater or air conditioning?
All mobile homes have a heater. Occasionally, on some campsites in warm countries, there may not be a heater in the mobile home. If so, this will be stated in the special remarks. Many campsites have mobile homes with air conditioning and these are symbolised by the 'snowflake' pictogram on the campsite page. However, usage of the air conditioning is not always included in our price. Any extra costs for the air-conditioning will be stated above the campsite price panel at the bottom of the page.

Is there a garden set with my accommodation?
Yes, every type of Vacansoleil accommodation has a set of garden furniture with a parasol. All mobile homes have a standard set which consists of a garden table with 4 chairs and 2 reclining chairs. The tents have the same set plus an extra table (for inside or outside use). Please be aware if there is any change in itinerary this will be indicated in the information above the price panel on each campsite page.

Where is the Vacansoleil accommodation situated?
This may differ per campsite. You can ask for a preference if you have any wishes about the location at most of the camspites. Please call our sales team who will be happy to discuss any possible preferences.

I have booked two different types of accommodation, will they be located next to each other?
The location of Vacansoleil accommodation differs on each campsite. Generally the same type of accommodations are located close together. However, there is a small chance that this may be the case for two different types. Our sales team can inform you about the location of the different type of accommodation.

Is it allowed to put up a small tent on a pitch next to a caravan, tent, camper van or folding trailer?
Yes, but only on the condition it fits within the dimensions of the pitch. If an extra fee is required this is paid at the campsite. Our operators can provide more details.

Can I put up a small tent next to the accommodation?
This differs at each campsite. Some campsites don't mind, some may charge. However, it is not allowed to exceed the maximum number of people staying in the accommodation. Our operators can provide more details.

How old is your accommodation?
Vacansoleil accommodation is no more than 5 years old. Our campsite managers ensure that all accommodation is in perfect condition.

Smoking
Although smoking is allowed in our accommodation, we kindly request you not to smoke. Out of respect to the increasing number of non-smokers and the care for our material we would prefer if you could choose to smoke outside.
