We send our film crew to new campsites so we can provide you with a better insight of the campsite.
Vacansoleil Pro Cycling Team Vacansoleil has had its own professional cycling team since 2009. They did really well and achieved many victories in their first season so they are aiming even higher next season. Vacansoleil wants to offer talented cyclists the opportunity to aim for the top in their profession. We are giving huge support to cycling, both in a sporting context and in general, be it around the campsite or at home. In addition you can enter our competition to win prizes every month, including a two week camping holiday or the chance to be a VIP guest at one of the cycling races. New website The Vacansoleil website has undergone some huge changes, all of which will be live before the end of the year. It will have an interactive facility and you will be able to hear sounds of the campsite, such as people having fun on the waterslide. Take a virtual tour around your mobile home or be served with pizza from the campsite restaurant. The website still offers our on-line booking facility.	New campsites Every year an increasing number of people like to stay on a Vacansoleil campsite. We meet this demand by introducing new top class campsites to our brochure each season. We have new campsites in France, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Holland. Portugal is the latest Vacansoleil destination and we have several campsites in good locations and within easy reach by plane. We can also book your car hire once you know which flights you are taking.
Overnight stay Driving with your family in the car on a holiday can be very pleasant. However, if the destination is far away, it might be a good idea to break up the journey, Even if you make regular stops along the way, it's easy to become over-tired and the safety of your family is paramount. That's why Vacansoleil gives you the option of hotel stopovers where the whole family can enjoy a good night's sleep. The hotels in the Accor group are economical, yet comfortable with a secure car park, a refreshing shower and a comfortable bed. After a well-deserved night's sleep you can continue on your travels and arrive at your campsite fully refreshed and ready to start your holiday. We can arrange all your overnight stops at no extra cost. We also offer overnight stops at 2 campsites: Les 3 Lacs du Soleil in Trept (Isère region) and La Croix d'Arles in Bourg (Champagne). You only pay the nightly price plus a small fee for cleaning, even in high season. Why not combine your overnight stop with a trip to Paris? You can stay at our campsite Le Chêne Gris for one night too.	New information pages We have always provided a funny story to introduce our regional country pages but these have been replaced with more factual information about the various holiday destinations. You can now read about the history, culture and local food of the area. You can find out about where your campsite is located and we also give ideas for interesting and fun family trips. We have information on unusual facts about each region. To make your choice easier, we have given distances, temperatures, hours of sun and the nearest airport to your campsite.
Camping Kids	There's also some good news about our professional entertainment programme, Camping Kids. They have a new mascot called Zipp, a funny and precocious bee which hops enthusiastically around the campsite. In addition to our website www.camping-kids.co.uk that runs throughout the year, more campsite owners want us to provide a Camping Kids programme on their campsite. For next season Vacansoleil will be offering a new programme that caters for all ages at more campsites. Check the page of your favourite campsite to see if the Camping Kids pictogram is shown.
More Waikikis Our three-bedroomed Waikiki mobile home has become very popular so we have decided to increase the number of these mobile homes and offer them at even more of our campsites. New bungalow tents Vacansoleil would like to introduce their new bungalow tents for the 2010 season. They are a modified and improved version of the old model and have an adjustable wooden floor for more comfort. The canvas walls are also more upright so as to create more space inside, allowing room for four sleeping compartments. The equipment provided is the same as in the previous version and the prices are the same for both models. The new tents will be installed at several campsites in France and Italy.
