Vacansoleil-DCM Pro Cycling Team 

Vacansoleil is the proud main sponsor of the Vacansoleil – DCM Pro Cycling Team since 2009. The Vacansoleil – DCM Pro Cycling Team has been active in the World Tour since 2011. With a World Tour License, the team is allowed to participate in all the important cycling events, the Tour de France being the main one.

The target of the team is to become a consistent player in the World Tour, and bring something to the table in every race with an accomplished team. The team, with its international mix of riders, will be constantly growing, riding well and contributing to a clean and attractive sport.

Talented riders

The team consists of a mix of young and experienced riders. The majority of the team are Dutch, Belgian and Italian, along with riders from a wide variety of other countries. Cycling is one of the most popular and most viewed sports all over the world. This enables Vacansoleil to promote the brand through the pro cycling team world wide. Therefore, we prefer riders from countries where we have Vacansoleil offices. However, we also sign talented riders from other countries, as long as they can contribute to the team.

Vacansoleil 4 Challenge

Vacansoleil promotes recreational cycling as a healthy form of exercise, not just during a holiday but throughout the entire year. By making grown-ups and children more familiar with cycling, Vacansoleil wants to improve their involvement in this wide-ranging sport. We do that through the Vacansoleil 4 Challenge project. This is a yearly series of cycling races for recreational cyclists. Besides that, we also give children the opportunity to learn about different kinds of cycling sports in a safe and playful way during the Vacansoleil Kids 4 Challenge.
