Arrive any day of the week Decide for yourself how long you want to stay. You don’t have to book a full week as most campsites have a minimum stay of four nights. Sometimes it's just two nights and, at the occasional site, only one. You can fit your Channel crossing around your travel to suit yourself. You don’t have to travel straight from the UK to your campsite, we can book your ferry crossing up to 30 days either side of your campsite arrival and departure dates. So why not watch it with your new friends at the campsite? All campsites showing this pictogram have a television room or large screen tv so you don't have to miss a thing. Maximum flexibility It’s up to you. You can choose how many different campsites you want to visit and the number of nights you want to spend on each. With 360 campsites to make your selection from, the options are endless. You also decide which day of the week you prefer to arrive and depart. For efficiency reasons we might have to ask you if you can move your arrival or departure date a little when you call to book. Don't forget, by choosing to travel mid-week you’ll miss all the weekend traffic and weekend ferry supplements. If you want an overnight stop, just give us a call.	Free nights in early and late summer One of the many great offers we have throughout the year is free nights in early and late summer. The dates and number of free nights vary but full details for each campsite are shown on the 'campsite info' page for each site. Look out for 14=7, which means you get a full week for free! Watch out for these savings during school holidays. The May half term break is a great example as you can have 7=5 or 7=6 on most campsites. It's sometimes possible to take 2 weeks starting 20 August and only pay for 7 nights. That way you would be home for the start of the school term. The rules are very simple: the free nights within the offer will be the cheapest during the period of your stay. Also, if there are any extra supplements to be paid (for instance local taxes) these will apply for the full duration of your holiday. Some school holidays will fall into special discount periods. Free nights are automatically deducted from the price of your holiday.	Your holiday home from home We have a great range of accommodation to choose from with something to suit every family and all budgets. All types, be it one of our spacious tents or a luxury mobile home, are fully equipped with everything you might need for a self-catering holiday. This means more space in your car for you and the family to take those extras that always matter on holiday, like your tennis racquets or the kids' favourite toys.
Preferences Special requests - we like to help If you have special request about your accommodation (for example two families to be placed next to one another) we will do our best to help. Whilst we cannot guarantee that these preferences will be honoured, we will advise the campsite of your requirements and they will do their best for you. A charge of £3.50 is made for each preference. Should you have a special need due to a medical problem then we will do our best to guarantee that this is possible but, because of extra work involved, there will be a charge of £20.	Pets Each campsite page shows details of whether or not pets are allowed in your holiday accommodation. You will see all information in the Special Remarks section, just after the campsite description. This will include costs, exceptions and if campsites ask money for final cleaning. A number of campsites only allow pets in low season. In some mobile homes pets are not allowed. In a Vacansoleil tent pets are absolutely prohibited.If you book a pitch for your own tent or caravan you are usually allowed to bring your pet. You can see the additional cost in the price schedule. When going abroad a valid 'pet passport' is compulsory. Taking pets with you »	Guaranteed opening hours Where possible, Vacansoleil will indicate the opening dates of the facilities at each campsite. Low season is a great time to take a holiday as prices are low and there are less crowds but you will want to know whether the swimming pool and other facilities are open. Vacansoleil has gathered together as much information as possbile and this is shown on the 'camping info' page for each site. So check out your favourite campsite and if Vacansoleil says: “swimming pool 15/5 - 15/9” or “restaurant 1/4 - 31/10” you can be sure that it is open during that period - guaranteed! If a campsite has several swimming pools, at least one of these will be open during the period mentioned. Guaranteed! During the low season some facilities will not be open. This will be decided by the local management and unfortunately is outside of our control.
