Important information
How much is cleaning/security deposit that I have to pay at the campsite?
The deposit in usually between €50 and €400. This can normally be paid by credit or debit card or in some cases by cash only. The amount due and payment types allowed will be noted on your travel documents. Your deposit will be returned once your mobile has been left properly cleaned and no damage has been done. Arrival/departure times will be shown on your travel documents. If you intend leaving the campsite outside of the normal departure times please notify your campsite courier or campsite reception staff so they can make arrangements to check your accommodation and return the deposit paid.
Final cleaning
At the end of your holiday you should leave your accommodation clean and tidy. In this way the next guests can also enjoy a clean unit of accommodation on their arrival. A final check is made by local management at an agreed time, and whilst you are still there.
Some campsites charge for final cleaning. Sometimes the final cleaning costs are compulsory. There are also campsites where you can arrange for the final cleaning to be done for you. That way you do not to clean the accommodation yourself.
Cleaning costs vary per type of accommodation and per campsite. The costs are included in the price list. If you have to pay for cleaning, it will be shown on your booking confirmation.
Pets
In the search and book section of the website, you can add a pet to the search criteria. You will then only be offered campsites where pets are allowed in some of the accommodation types. Pets are not allowed in some mobile homes. No pets are allowed in any Vacansoleil tent accommodation. If you book a pitch for your own tent or caravan you are usually allowed to bring your pet. Some campsites only allow pets in low season or pets of a certain weight. On each campsite information page under the “Accommodation” tab you will be shown any supplement that need to be paid for pets if applicable. On some campsites, if taking a pet local fees may apply for compulsory cleaning for example. This information will be highlighted for you on the important information section during the online booking process and also on your booking confirmation. When traveling abroad a “Pet Passport” is compulsory.
Garden furniture
Every Vacansoleil accommodation is supplied with a set of garden furniture and a parasol (there may be no parasol on some campsites were a covered deck/terrace is provided). The standard equipment provided is a garden table with six chairs, four fixed and two adjustable. Tent accommodation has an extra table (for indoor or outdoor use). Some campsites offer extra loungers with the accommodation. Full details of what is provided with your chosen accommodation is noted on the “Accommodation” tab on each campsite information page.
Campsite specific accommodation descriptions
On the “Accommodation” tab on each campsite page you will find the general accommodation description, below this you will find site specific differences that apply to your chosen accommodation. These important differences will also be shown during the booking process.
Linen
In our mobile homes, pillows/blankets are usually provided. Bed linen (sheets/pillow cases) in most cases is NOT included. On some campsites it is possible to pre-book bed linen online during the booking process. If this option is not available it may be possible to book linen with us by phone and pay locally. On some campsites bed line rental is not possible. Towels are usually not available to rent and you may need to bring your own. Please note: no bedding of any type is provided in the tents, you must bring your own pillows, blankets, linen and towels.
Number of people per accommodation
You can choose from several different types of accommodation. One type is suitable for 2 people, while the other can accommodate 10 people during their holiday. If you want to know exactly how many adults and children the accommodation that you have chosen can accommodate, then look at the 1st pictogram on the right hand side by the accommodation type on the campsite page. Please note: small children and babies count as a person.
