What do the pictograms mean?

Well you may be on a holiday, but of course you won't want to miss that important sporting event ( FIFA World Cup, Wimbledon, Roland-Garros, Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a Espana). Often watching a television broadcast at the campsite is even better than back at home. Many campsites have special halls, sometimes even with extra large screens. Whether it's a football match, a cycling event or a Formula 1 race, when this pictogram is shown on your favourite campsite's page you won't have to miss a thing.
Mobile homes with airconditioning
To Vacansoleil a comfortable mobile home also means a pleasant inside temperature. So, more and more mobile homes are equipped with an air conditioning. Campsites that have accommodation with airconditioning are denoted by this pictogram. Sometimes you have to pay a surcharge for its use. If this is the case, details are shown in the pricing panel on each campsite page.
Suitable for wheelchair users
Some campsites are less suitable than others, for example some of them have steep roads leading up to the accommodation or perhaps lots of steps. More and more campsites pay heed to the needs of people using a wheelchair. At Vacansoleil the minimum requirement needed to qualify for this pictogram is easy access to the restaurant and the swimming pool , without any obstacles.
At campsite Iris Parc Le Château de Galaure (Drôme, France), Iris Parc Le Grand Dague (Dordogne, France) and Iris Parc Birkelt (Luxembourg) Vacansoleil offers a number of mobile homes especially for wheelchair users. Also all Navajo-tents are suitable for wheelchair users. All other tents have one or multiple steps to enter the tent, and are therefore not suitable for every wheelchair user.
Cycle trips from the campsite
Cyclists like to practice their hobby during their holidays too. That is why Vacansoleil has selected a number of campsites particularly suitable for cyclists. For example, campsites with beautiful cycle routes nearby, those that have special cycle paths or ones located close to famous mountain climbs that are included in the big races. Campsites that have any of these are depicted by this pictogram.
Baby packs
The baby pack consists of a cot and high chair. At most campsites you also have a baby bath. Please note: The cot does not include sheets or a mattress. You need to bring these yourself. Tip: reserve your baby pack when you make your booking and there’s still availability!
WiFi on the campsite
Always online with your smartphone, tablet or laptop? Most campsites now have WiFi coverage. A WiFi logo will be shown in the campsite information section to indicate if WiFi is available. Most campsites charge a fee (payable locally) if you use the facility. Please note that the quality of the WiFi can differ from what you are used to back home. There are campsites where there is only coverage around central areas and sometimes you can only use one device at a time.

Vacansoleil staff are ready to help you, both in high season and often in low season too. They are your holiday assistants at the campsite. You can recognise them by their blue-yellow shirts and their beaming smiles. Need to ask them something? They'll be happy to help.

Almost all the campsites selected by Vacansoleil have a fabulous entertainment programme for children of all ages. Linen packs
This campsite provides bed linen and/or towel packs. It is easy to reserve these online. However, you can only do this between 2 and 5 weeks before your arrival date.
Final cleaning
Don't fancy cleaning your accommodation at the end of your holiday? On campsites displaying this pictogram you can leave the cleaning to the local management. You can book this service online. Costs vary per type of accommodation and per campsite.
Dishwasher in your accommodation
Camping has become very comfortable at many campsites, as you can choose an accommodation with a dishwasher! The dishwasher is part of your fully equipped kitchen.
