BeautifulLošinj island
Lošinj island is the eleventh largest island in the Adriatic, 33 km long and 4.75 km wide, with Mali Lošinj being its main town. The island has 112 km of rugged coastline which is full of bays and coves, that are ideal for swimming and sunbathing. The highest mountain on Lošinj is the wooded Osoršćica mountain (588 m), which stretches along the northern part of the island. In ancient times, Cres and Lošinj were one island. Only with the excavation of the Ossero channel, probably in Roman times, two islands were formed which today are connected by a bridge. This stunning island awaits your discovery.
