Camping Aux Rives du Soleil

This extremely friendly campsite is on the border of southern Bourgogne and the Ain department, close to the charming little town of Mâcon. Holidaying with the whole family? Then you’ll find everything you’ll need here for a delightful holiday. This campsite is especially good for a trip with children up to 14 years old. It’s also close to the Autoroute du Soleil motorway. So handily situated if you’re continuing your travels.

  • There's a good swimming pool with separate children's pool. Jump in to cool off and bob about.
  • This campsite is ideal for families with small children in high season.There’s a special entertainment programme for the little ones, with lots of fun games. They’ll still be talking about it well after they get home!
  • The playing field is the place for children of all ages to have fun? There’s a swing, little meery-go-round, trampoline, bouncy castle, table tennis and a lot more! The kids have a blast and you can really relax.
  • Camping Aux Rives du Soleil is on the banks of the Saône, near the bridge that takes you to the other side of the river. Cross it and you’ll be on the ‘de Voie Bleue’ cycling route, the perfect spot to set off on a glorious family biking trip.
  • Feeling hungry? Then order your favourite fast food from the snack bar. Or take a seat in the campsite restaurant Bouilloux to enjoy some tasty local delicacies. It’s open all season.
  • One of the two sanitation blocks has recently been completely renovated and the campsite also has some stunning new mobile homes. This will make your stay even more comfortable.

The flat countryside of the Ain and the hills of the Mâconnais and the Beaujolais have a beautiful mix of castles, abbeys and charming villages. This area remains totally unspoiled by mass tourism. A couple of days in Burgundy before continuing your journey south is a must.

"A pretty campsite situated along the Saône river. Plenty of games for children and they can also play near the river, in the pool or children's pool. Lovely cycling and walking routes."
