Looking for the real French charm? When you arrive at the Gorges du Chambon, you spontaneously start sing a chanson. The farm-like reception building with courtyard immerses you in the Dordogne feeling. The robust walls with wild ivy, pistachio-colored shutters, terracotta roof tiles, cream-white pebble paths ... just like an old French movie. Behind this romantic entrance is the swimming pool with a view at the green hills. A wonderful place for your holiday!

Some tips for your holiday at Camping Les Gorges du Chambon in Eymouthiers

    • Into nature? Be enchanted by the lovely splash of the waterfall Le Saut du Chalard. Take a cave tour (there are many in this region). Or check in for a canoe trip on the river.
    • The castles popped up here like mushrooms for a long time. Such as La Rochefoucauld, a beautiful Renaissance chateau on the River Tardoire. Chateau Rochechouart and Chateau Chalus-Chabrol are also within close proximity.
    • Do you like comic books? Go to Angoulême, the comics capital of France. The city itself is also a picture. With an ancient center and a rocky environment really worth visiting.
    • The canal town of Brantôme seems straight out of a fairy tale. Stroll along the waterfront terraces, the watermill, the Benedictine abbey and understand why they call it the 'Venice of the Périgord'.
    • Top choice for the kids: the tree climbing park Cornille Aventure. There is also an 18-hole mini golf course. Close to the campsite.
