Some tips for your holiday at Camping Les Viviers in Lège-Cap-Ferret

    • The natural beauty of this region is just dazzles. Visit the largest sand dunes in Europe, Île aux Oiseaux with its iconic wooden houses set the water, visit the lighthouse at Cap Ferret or take a boat to elegant Arcachon.
    • This part of France is a surfer's paradise because of the huge waves. Fancy surfing yourself? Cap Ferret has all the equipment you need for hire, so grab a wetsuit and give it a try. If you don’t feel like braving the waves yourself why not relax on the beach with the kids and watch the surf sceptical in front of you.
    • The Île aux Oiseaux is like something from a fairy-tale: with wooden houses built on high poles set in the sea, depending on the tide they can be high off the water or sand.
    • The charming oyster villages of L'Herbe, Piraillan or Le Canon, near Cap-Ferret are definitely worth a visit. Stroll the winding streets and enjoy fresh oysters at a seaside terrace.
    • Fancy a boat trip? Then make the sea crossing to Arcachon.
