Campsite information

Camping Les Salisses is a lively, well-kept campsite on level ground, just outside the center of Vias-Plage. You will find everything for a perfect holiday: excellent swimming pool with water slide, entertainment team and modern facilities. The beach is 1500 meters away and there is a large amusement park close to the campsite.

The eye-catcher at the campsite is the lovely swimming pool complex with a water slide. You can also take a dip in the heated swimming pool with sliding roof, which is open to naturists in the high season (from 18 years).
The holiday is one big adventure for the children. The little ones have fun in the children's pool and in the playground. And the entertainment team organizes fun activities in high season.
At 500 meters from the campsite, lunapark Europark is a cheerful mix of a fair and an amusement park. Merry-go-rounds, roller coasters, haunted houses, crazy attractions, it's all mixed up here. Can you hear the children cheering?
For sports enthusiasts there is a rugby pitch, multi sports area, a beach volleyball pitch, fitness room and tennis courts. You're guaranteed an action packed holiday.
If you'd like to explore the countryside on horseback, there are stables nearby.
There is nowhere better to rest than on the veranda of your luxury mobile home. Or on the beach of course. The soft sand of Vias-Plage awaits you. A fifteen minute walk and you are at the sea.

The surrounding area of Les Salisses

Three rivers meander their way from various directions and almost meet at the Mediterranean. The Aude, Orb and Hérault rivers are within 20km of each other, making this a fertile region from where some of the best wines orginate. There are wide, sandy beaches on the coast for a well spent holiday. For nature lovers there's plenty of culture and architecture waiting to be explored.

Some tips for your holiday at Les Salisses in Vias-Plage

Visit Cap d'Agde (10 km), a fashionable seaside resort with an enviable marina, a beautiful beach and a pleasant center with shopping streets and squares.
Close to the camping site there is lunapark Europark (500 meters), a permanent fair with attractions for small children and experts. From bumper cars and barbapapa stalls (cotton candy) to rollercoasters and bungee jumping, everything is possible here.
Are the children allowed to choose (again)? That will be Aqualand Cap d'Agde (10 km), the most popular water park of this region.
For lovers of old French cities: Béziers (19 km), the city on the medieval Canal du Midi and surrounded by vineyards. The center is just as beautiful.
A visit to Sète (30 km) also deserves a place on your must-see list. This water-rich town is called the Venice of the Languedoc. Bring your photo camera.
You can also go to Montpellier (62 km), a beautiful city where modern architecture and ancient buildings give the center a unique face.
History lover? The ancient Roman city of Nîmes (110 km), with one of the best preserved Roman arenas and a jewel of a cathedral, will set your heart on fire.
