Some tips for your holiday at Camping Les Dunes de Contis in Saint-Julien-en-Born
- Visit Minimzan, a pretty seaside town not far from the campsite. The beach here is 6km long and at Lake Aureilhan you'll find a lovely hiking trail: La Promenade Fleurie.
- Ever heard of the Dune du Pyla? This is the largest natural sand dune in Europe. if you climb this wonder of sand you'll be rewarded with a fantastic vire over the Atlantic Ocean.
- Biarritz, surfing capital of France (and possibly Europe!). Admire the daredevil surfers who zigzag through the huge waves or stroll along the prettu shopping streets. Don't miss a visit to the romantic palace of the Empress Eugenie.
- For a totally different trip head to the Roman city of Dax. Behind it's thick walls you will find springs, majestic baths and lots of spa facilities.
