Why Camping Le Col Vert?
- Large, modern campsite right by lake Léon
- The little ones swim and play in their own special pool!
- Must do: biking, hiking and relaxing by the beach
Camping Le Col Vert is a large, modern campsite on the shores of Lake Léon, around 7 kilometres from the Atlantic coast. The many large trees provide welcome shade, for the campsite is set in a pine forest.
Inland from the Atlantic Ocean are rows of sand dunes and these make way for recreational lakes that are connected to the ocean by small creeks. Lake Etang de Léon, named after the village Léon, is around 4km from the campsite. The lake doesn't have breaker like the Atlantic, however this makes is more interesting for younger children so they can swim safely, sail or even have their first surf lessons. Younger children can build their sand castles here or at the large ocean beach too. Surfers will enjoy the breakin
"Large campsite set in a nature reserve with lots of activities for the whole family. Direct access to Lake Léon and the sandy beaches of Les Landes are nearby. Good cycling area."
