Some tips for your holiday at Camping Haliotis in Pontorson

    • The Mont Saint-Michel, built on a rocky island off the coast, looks like it was picked out of a fairy tale book. It is called the wonder of the west. Next to the abbey, the spring tide is just as spectacular. The difference between ebb and flow is extremely large. Which provides beautiful views, also for photographers!
    • The bay of Mont-Saint-Michel is a source of happiness for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. In this ebb and flow area, you will witness the unique flora and fauna and dreamy images loom right before your eyes. How about a morning walk, with the abbey beautifully silhouetted in the mist?
    • Lots of fun for the kids: Alligator Bay in Beauvoir. You’ll easily spend a whole day wandering around this crocodile farm and reptile zoo.
    • Are castles your passion? Visit the castle of Rouërie, only fifteen minutes from the campsite. This 17th century Norman castle is classified as a historic monument and it is surrounded by beautiful French and English gardens.
    • Saint-Malo also looks good on your camera lens! This ancient harbor town, with thick stone walls and a fortress island off the coast, was once a popular haven for pirates. Go on great walks over the city walls with a magnificent view over the ocean!
