Wake up, walk out from your veranda and you’ll be on the beach in just a few short steps. That’s what a holiday is all about at Camping Village Marina Julia. Rather start the day with a dip in the pool? This fabulous camping village is not only right by the sea, but it also has an enormous water park. Camping here is a real festive affair!

  • At this campsite you’ll feel the sand between your toes after just a 100m walk. Toddlers can play safely on the beach and in the calm waters of the sea. Looking for some shade? Then settle down under the cover of the pine trees.
  • Are your kids happiest whizzing door waterslides? Then they’ll love the aqua park! It’s got waterslides, a lazy river, a swimming pool with a diving board, a separate toddlers pool and lots of watersports activities. Some tips for your holiday at Camping Marina Julia Camping Village in Monfalcone

  • The port of Trieste is a 45 minute drive away. It’s full of historical buildings such as the famous Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia and some spectacular statues.
  • Slightly closer to the campsite ( 30 minutes away) is Grado. The Italians call it ‘The island of the sun.’ Take a relaxing boot trip to the surrounding little islands or wander across the beautiful promenade to the old city centre and buy some tasty local delicacies at the covered market to enjoy back at the campsite. Feel like a breather? Then chill out on the child friendly beaches of Grado.
  • Want to visit a real metropolis? It’ll take you a good 90 minutes. But it’s worth it! Venice awaits with her magnificent water ways. Or Ljubljana, where you can stroll the streets at your leisure and have a terrific time at one of its lively terraced bars.
  • Where can you spot more than 300 species of birds and the small, white Camargue horses? In the ‘Foce dell’Isonzo’.nature reserve of course! Hire some bikes here so you can tour de park and get to see everything properly! The park has great facilities, with plenty of toilets, places to take a break and some lovely spots to have a drink.
  • Looking for slightly more thrills? Then take your kids to the enormous cave: Grotta Gigante. Its largest room is over 100m high! Follow the official route and you’ll be treated to spectacular views of this amazing area. Wander the hallways here, but beware. You bump into an extremely stirring sight. The skeleton of an ancient cave bear!
  • Last but not least. Do some serious shopping in Monfalcone. Get all the ingredients to make that delicious seafood pasta yourself back at your mobile home!
