Campsite information

Camping Lago Maggiore

There are many campsites on the shores of Lago Maggiore, but there is only one that can call itself Camping Lago Maggiore. Although this family campsite is not as large as many of the other around the lake, it is definitely one of the most scenic.

  • There's a well maintained grassy sunbathing area beside the lake and some small beaches which are safe for small children. It's ideal for families with young children.
  • Teenagers will enjoy themselves here too. It's a great spot for an evening's entertainment.
  • There's a large shopping centre opposite the campsite and there are even more shops in Milan, just 65km from the campsite.
  • Hungry for real Italian pizza? They are simply delicious here. Grab a table in the cosy campsite restaurant.

The surrounding of Camping Lago Maggiore

Had a great time, using the camp as a base to discover other places such as Milan, Como, Vercelli, Turin and Stresa. Restaurant was good and the nearby Pan Pan was equally nice. Useful supermarket just off site. Staff all friendly and helpful, had a great time!
