One day in Rome is far too short so why not use this campsite as a base for your visits. Nowhere merges its history into Italian daily life more than Rome. Watch the scooters buzz around the Colosseum or take a walk through the dig at the Forum Romanum.
"A friendly campsite with good swimming pools, restaurants and entertainment. Located within easy reach of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Rome is outstanding."

Vacansoleil are a very professional and helpful travel company. From beginning to end I was 100% happy with the service they provided to me and my family. The booking process was informative and safe and when we arrived on site we were met by a very happy and helpful vacansoleil rep. who informed us in full of all the details we would need for the duration of our stay. The campsite Village Fabulous in Rome was fantastic. It was clean and safe and all ages were catered for. Facilities were in abundance and the staff were super friendly and helpful. They all appear to enjoy their job. The transport links to Rome and surrounding areas were frequent and easy to use. We had a fabulous time and the Animation team at Village Fabulous were outstanding. They really were the best I've seen. I wpuld highly recommend booking with Vacansoleil as they ensured that our trip was easy and very successful and I will definitely book with them in the future.
Wear hats to bus stop if travelling to Rome as it's not shaded, buy bus tickets from info point if travelling to Rome, wear comfortable shoes to bus stop as no footpath

This is the 2nd time we'd been to this campsite and despite Covid, it was equally as enjoyable as the first. Great pool, great restaurant food, good shop (when open), great location for trips into Rome - loved it.

We absolutely loved our holiday. Booking was easy as the website was great, and communication was really good right from the start. The site was brilliant exactly as described, accommodation was lovely and really well equipped. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Will def book with you again and have recommended the company to several people already. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Nice and close to Rome, bus runs from campsite to train then it's a few stops to the centre of Rome. And costs €1.50 kids under 10 are free. The shop onsite is well stocked for essentials and fresh bread every day but there is a big supermarket about 5 mins drive away, visit the ruins at ostia, the site is huge and you will get a better idea of real Roman life than anything in Rome.
