Camping El Bahira

At the El Bahira campsite in Sicily you'll encounter one wonderful surprise after another: from the stunning sea views, lovely large pool, bewitching sunsets, the beautiful Lo Zingaro nature area, to the laid back Sicilian ambiance. Bring your snorkels and water shoes!

  • This pleasant family campsite is a real little paradise. El Bahira is right by the sea. There's a cosy beach hidden between the nearby rocks. Follow the footpath and this sheltered little bay is all yours.
  • The strong currents here don't make this the ideal place to swim, but just 3 km away you'll find the lovely, pearly white beach of San Vito Lo Capo. Spend all day swimming there and explore the underwater world, as there's fantastic snorkeling and diving there!
  • Have a swim with a view in the large campsite ( salt water) pool. Dive in or do laps with an endless blue horizon in the background. It's enough to make you go all zen.
  • All that swimming makes you hungry. Luckily there's a handy culinary campsite app. Order what you fancy and it'll be delivered to you, even on the beach. Of course you can always sit down and eat in the tasty pizzeria.
  • The entertainment team will keep your kids busy with all kinds of activities, such as creative arts with sorted rubbish. They'll make masterpieces out of it! It's more than clear here that the El Bahira campsite is very environmentally friendly.
  • Feeling sporty? There are lots of water sports activities here, especially at the diving centre. Want to stay on dry land? Then head for the climbing wall and catch your breath afterwards in the campsite's natural garden.

Some tips for your holiday at Camping El Bahira in San Vito lo Capo

  • Lo Zingaro nature reserve is just 10 km from the campsite. Put on your sturdy shoes and wander the footpaths along the coast. Climb steep hills, descend down into fairy tale bays and admire the wildlife and plants in the area.
  • Visit Erice, the wonderful, medieval little town, which clings to a 750m high cliff. How on earth do you get there? By cable car? Leave from Trapani ( 35km). Rather go by car? Then get ready for an exciting ride, along numerous hairpin bends. Thrilling? Yes, but the view is amazing!
  • A must see: the Aegadian Islands of Marettimo, Favignana and Levanzo. Some say the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean. Depart from Trapani.
  • Fancy a day in the city? Go to the old centre of Trapani to see the baroque buildings, pleasant shopping streets and the wonderfully chaotic harbour. A little further away lies the stunning city of Palermo. Everything takes your breath away here. The cathedral, the town squares, the opera and the city parks of Villa Giuila en Giardino Garibald: have you ever seen such enormous palm trees!
