Some tips for your holiday at Camping 't Veld in Rheeze
- Hop on a bike and explore the beautiful surrounding countryside on 2 wheels. Tip: take a bike trip past some lovely scenery to the quaint little town of Ommen ( 16km). Must do: visit the pancake house there for a delicious traditional local lunch.
- Hikers head for the delightful nature area of the De Rheezerbelten near the campsite, with its incredible shifting sand dunes, heaths, fens and little lakes.
- Treat the kids to trip to Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen (37km). See tigers, lions, monkeys , elephants, polar bears, penguins and sealions. It’s a fabulous day out for all the family.
- For even more fun for the kids head for the amazing amusements parks close by, such as Attractiepark Slagharen in Hardenberg (5km) and Plopsaland in Coevorden (19km).
- Fancy a day by the water away from the campsite? Then head for the Oldemeijer recreational lake close by ( 1.5km). Relax by the beach, have fun in the water and enjoy a snack, drink or ice cream. The lake is set by a wonderful wood, so there’s plenty of spots for a quiet family picnic.
- Horse riding lovers go to Hardenberg (5km) to visit the local stables. Plan a ride through the woods and the gorgeous Vechtdal for an unforgettable experience.
