Camping Scheldeoord

Camping Scheldeoord is a true family campsite, situated in a quiet location near the seawall of the Westerschelde. The beach of Scheldestrand is a few minutes walk away. This 5-star campsite is a great holiday destination for the whole family.

  • Children will love the several playgrounds that are dotted around the campsite (including a covered play set and a bouncer). Or they can play at being Messi, Robben or Ronaldo on the football field.
  • The indoor pool and outdoor one with its waterslide both provide lots of water fun.
  • The entertainment team steals the show with a program for all ages that is packed with sports, games and theatre.
  • Fancy eating out? Why not try the campsite restuarant or the 'Strandbrasserie De Landing' by the seawall. From here you can enjoy the view over the Westerschelde.
  • Nature lovers will love Schelderoord for the many cycling and walking opportunities nearby.

The surrounding of Camping Scheldeoord

The campsite is about 2km outside the village of Baarland. The surrounding area is called the 'the bag of South-Beveland', which is the southern part of this wide Zeeuws peninsula. It is wonderful to walk or cycle across the characteristic dykes here.
