The beautiful countryside of Logarska Dolina, Postojna, Kočevje and Triglav National Park
The Slovenian landscape is beautiful, rich and varied. The Alpine green valley of Logarska Dolina is filled with waterfalls, rock towers and mountains. Take a trip from your campsite to visit the Triglav National Park which houses the spectacular emerald green river and the magnificent Lake Bled, the most popular sight-seeing spot in Slovenia. Postojna has an extensive cave system to explore. 20 km of chambers, hallways and galleries, with ceilings nearly 50 meters high. The Kočevje region of Slovenia has the best preserved primeval forests in Europe. Home to bears, wolves, lynx and eagles.
Cultural highlights in Ljubljana,Bled, Piran and Maribor
The mighty medieval fortress of Ljubljana Castle has looked over the vibrant capital of Slovenia since the 12th century. Take the tram ride up to the top for some stunning views of Ljubljana. Art lovers head to the pretty seaside town of Piran. A medieval masterpiece with museums to match. The most iconic cultural image of Slovenia is that of Lake Bled, with its imposing hillside castle overlooking the magnificent emerald waters. It’s located near the campsite, so great for an easy and exciting day out. Wine buffs visit Maribor to see Stara trta, the oldest vine in the world, which dates back to the 16th century.
Camping by the sea in Slovenia
Slovenia has just 47km of Adriatic coastline, but its quality, not quantity that appeals here. The largest and most popular beach is Portoroz and it has some of the finest stretches of sandy beaches on the Adriatic coast. The port towns of Izola, Piran and Koper have delightful pebbled beaches, with clean, crystal clear water. A camping holiday by the sea in Slovenia is an active affair, with ample opportunity for Swimming, snorkeling, water-skiing, sailing and fishing.

Get your thrills in Pustolovski Park in Straža Bled. This incredible tree top adventure park provides fun for all ages. Real daredevils delve deep down into the Postojna caves. A little train takes you through the 5 km long interior. Predjama castle close by will take you back to the time of knights and adventures. Dark dungeons, draw bridges and secret hiding places. Half way up a 123 m cliff. For some great edutainment head for Park Vulkania and learn all about the volcanoes of the Goricko region. So much fun, so close to your campsite.
