Experiencing the real camping feeling, but also enjoying luxury. That is exactly what camping in a Vacansoleil tent means. With us you can choose from our bungalow tents and safari tents. The tents have some things in common: you always sleep on real beds, you can cook in your own kitchen and all tents have electricity.

Luxury Navajo tent

The fully equipped Navajo bungalow tent has been Vacansoleil's lowest priced unit of accommodation for decades. And it still is. However a low price doesn't mean less comfort. The Navajo is built from sustainable materials and the interior is very modern. Comfortable camping doesn't have to be expensive at all.

Luxury Ottawa tent

The same surface area as the Navajo, but with more space because of the upright and higher walls. The robust aluminium frame is set on a level wooden floor. Perfect for campsites with uneven or soft soil. Plus, the floor provides a stable base which is easy to clean. It keep dry too because the floor is 15cm high and so keeps any rain water outside.

A good night's sleep in a real bed

Pumping up air mattresses before you go to sleep is a thing of the past. We have proper beds in our sleeping compartments. They are a good size with the double bed and two single beds that are 1.90m long. The two pull out beds are 1.80m long. All beds have a sturdy sprung base with double lateral support and a well ventilated foam mattress. However, you must take your own blankets, sheets, pillows and pillowcases.

New or nearly new

Vacansoleil ensures that the tents are kept in tip top condition. Every year over a thousand tents get new interiors and canvasses so that our high level of quality is maintained.

A Vacansoleil tent has a spacious interior. The floor area is 25 m² and headroom is 2.5m in the middle so you can stand upright.

Complete kitchen

Your kitchen has everything you may need including a four burner hob and a large fridge with seperate freezer. Plus, there are pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, clothes airer, cleaning utensils, waste bin, jerry can, lamps, can opener and corkscrew.

Electric like at home

Your tent will be well lit and has domestic size fridge. There is an extra socket for all sorts of things like, for instance, charging your phone. Safety is important to us and all electrics are fused and have an extra precaution of an earth switch.

The great outdoors

Camping is an outdoor experience. All Vacansoleil tents have a full set of garden furniture consisting of two tables, four garden chairs and two reclining chairs. Some campsites provide sun loungers but specific details are given in the pricing panels for each campsite. All bungalow tents have a parasol.
