Camping Bertrix

Camping Bertrix is an enchanting family campsite in the southern part of the Ardennes. It’s in a beautiful location, is incredibly relaxing, but there’s just one problem…….the kids will never want to leave! With a lovely playing wood, the very cool rangers entertainment programme and that super swimming pool, we completely understand!

    Some tips for your holiday at Camping Bertrix in Bertrix

    • Must do: kayak on the tranquil, bubbling Semois river (suitable for all ages). Cycle through protected nature areas at your leisure. Stop at one of the berths along the way, tucked away amongst the greenery, for a lovely picnic.
    • Not afraid of the dark? Then visit the fairytale, illuminated caves in Han (45 km). Once you’re back up in the daylight, another adventure awaits you. The game reserve, where you can spot brown bears, wolves and the big cats.
    • Still not had enough of the dark? Delve deep down into the Bertrix slate quarry. It’s quite a thrill!: the underground corridors are between 25 and 45 metres deep.
    • Feel like a walk on the moon? Flying in a space ship? A trip to Mars? Then you’re in luck! The Euro Space Center in Transinne (25 km) is looking for brave astronauts. Take the whole family on a space adventure in this unique theme park.
    • Want to explore some lovely towns in the area? There’s lots to see as you wander around the romantic city centre of Bouillon (20 km). Little old houses, a giant medieval castle, the cosy walking path that winds along the river Semois. Well worth a visit!
    • In the mood for some shopping? Then head for Bastogne (50 km). It’s one of the larger cities in the Ardennes. Don’t forget to drop in at the Bastogne War Museum, which is dedicated to the famous battle of the Ardennes, which took place during World War II.
