Some tips for your holiday at Camping La Colline in Virton

    • The wooded and adventurous environment makes you really want to go out. Hiking together, taking an exciting paddle trip in a canoe, jumping on a mountain bike. For the children, the 'fairy tour' in the nearby forest is a great experience!
    • Visit the beautiful river valley of the Semois, which is at its best here. Early hikers can enjoy a rendezvous in the woods with deer, roe deer or wild boar. Perhaps the black stork will also make an appearance. This rare clapper likes to dwell in the tops of the forests of the Gaume.
    • For lovers of the mystical Ardennes atmosphere: make trips to the Trappist abbey of Orval, the castle of Bouillon, and stroll through the streets of Torgny- one of the most beautiful villages in the Gaume.
    • Make it a three- or even four-country holiday! Cross the border into France, visit Luxembourg City or drive in an hour to the romantic town of Grevenmacher on the Moselle River. A little further on is Germany, with the beautiful Roman city of Trier.
    • The fortifications of the Fermont are both culturally and historically interesting. They were part of the Maginot defense line. See also the basilica of Avioth, and the slate quarries of Bertrix.
    • Another highlight of the Ardennes is the Caves of Han. Descend to the centre of the earth and experience an underground adventure that you’ll talk about for years to come. An hour's drive from the campsite.
    • Do you enjoy spending time fishing? There are two fishing lakes close to the campsite. One puddle for fly fishing, the other puddle for trout. At the campsite reception they will gladly tell you more about the fishing possibilities.
