Some tips for your holiday at Camping Arena Stoja in Pula
- Shopping in an ancient Roman city full of cultural wonders is something different from going to the market at home. The town of Pula is the nearest town, only 3 kilometres from the campsite.
- Not-to-be-missed historical highlights: the Colosseum-like amphitheatre (what a structure, what acoustics!), the Temple of Augustus, the fortress, and the Roman triumphal arch in the shopping street. In hot weather, the underground tunnel complex under the city is a must-do in Pula.
- The holiday photo: the port of Rovinj as seen from the sea. Book a boat excursion and capture the pastel-coloured houses of this dreamy town in your lens. Rovinj is the Pearl of Istria.
- Brijuni National Park: two untamed islands, 7 kilometres from Pula. Take the ferry from Fažana and get ready for a day full of surprises (natural splendour, a 1600-year-old olive tree, a safari park, cultural-historical finds and… dinosaurs!)
- Fancy a sizzling sandy beach? The beautiful Bijeca beach in Medulin (15km) slopes gradually, so that families with children can enjoy a wonderful day.
