Some tips for your holiday at Camping Baška Beach Resort in Baška
- Don’t want to venture too far for a lovely day out? Then stroll down the boulevard to the little town of Baška ( 1km). Buy a great souvenir from one of its shops, have a drink at one of the many bars or sit down for a long, lazy lunch with stunning sea views.
- History lovers head for the island’s capital city, Krk (25 km). Wander through the magnificent stone labyrinth of this former Roman settlement and admire its grand Romanesque cathedral and 12th-century Frankopan castle.
- For a really unique experience, treat the kids to a thrilling underwater ride in a submarine in Krk. Be captivated by the colourful sea life on the oceans bed, then try your hand at mermaid swimming!
- Wine lovers go to the east coast town of Vrbnik (19km) to enjoy a tasting tour of Krk’s finest wines. A glass of the delicious golden yellow Žlahtina is a must. With three of the island’s most renowned wineries in the area, finding some great bottles to take back to your campsite should be easy!
- Feel like an energetic hike through the gorgeous countryside? Then take the forest trail from Baška to Vela Luka bay(4km). Walk through some stunning nature, enjoy the beautiful views and reward yourself with an ice cold drink once you arrive back at the campsite!

- Looking for the ultimate in peace and quiet? Then take a short boat ride from Punat to the little island of Kosljun. It hosts a wonderful ancient monastery from 1480 inhabited by Franciscan monks. So shhhhhh!
