Some tips for your holiday at Camping Ježevac Premium Resort in Krk
- Stroll to the beach near the campsite. For this day out in paradise, bring your sunscreen, water shoes and a snorkel set. The sea water here is incredibly clear.
- The town of Krk is also within walking distance of your campsite. You'll be there in just five minutes on foot. Admire the Roman ruins, the cathedral with white tower and the Frankopan castle. Your camera will soon be full of lovely holiday snaps. Then relax on one of those tempting terraces. Wine tip: delicious wine from the Zlahtina grape that grows on the island of Krk.
- Take a boat trip around the island of Plavnik and pay attention on the way, as there is a good chance that you will spot dolphins here!
- Very close: the town of Punat with a child-friendly beach and a unique diving experience: you can dive down to the seabed to see starfish, crabs and fish, in antique diving equipment with a large convex helmet .
- Travel from Punat by boat to the island of Košljun. The main attraction here is the old monastery from 1480. Be quiet and dress neatly ... because the monastery is still inhabited by Franciscan monks.
- Visit Vrbnik. This photogenic village houses the narrowest street in the world. It's just 40 centimeters wide. A real discovery for the kids who are one of the few people who can sqeeze through it. In the surrounding alleys - which are wider but just as cozy - you will find lots of shops that sell their own wine. Including the local Zlahtina grape.
- Cool off in… the Krk caves. Like the Biserujka cave full of stalagmites and stalactites.
- A little further away, but according to everyone absolutely worth a visit are the Plitvice lakes. Even children grow silent in this national park, in awe of the thundering waterfalls and turquoise lakes. Pack your walking shoes and any baby carrier for your kids; so you can really enjoy this world-famous natural beauty spot.
