Camping Krk Premium Resort

Croatia has more than a 1000 islands. One of the most beautiful is Krk. One of the most scenic campsites is… Krk Premium Resort. A pleasant five star resort right by the crystal clear sea. With marvellous swimming pools, old olive trees, buzzing little squares and palm trees that sway softly in the sea breeze. It’s a real oasis….where you can really unwind. And the kids? They have a blast whizzing down wonderful water slides.

  • A luxurious, yet not too big family campsite that’s within walking distance of the lovely town Krk. The surroundings are lush green. Olive trees to the right and oleanders to the right and the sea is everywherel. The deep blue beckons you from most parts of the campsite.
  • You can stroll down to the 250 meter long private blue flag beach in no time at all. Super clean, with fine pebbles and classily created sunbathing platforms . Here you’ll dive into the crystal clear water time after time! Tip: snorkeling!
  • You can also see the sea from the swimming pool complex. Really relaxing, swimming with a view! There are different pools for all ages. You can hear the shrieks of pleasure coming from the separate water slide pool and water playground. Yes those little ones have a splashing good time!
  • The entertainment team are in over drive, so the children are well taken care of. So grab your chance for a little me time. Feeling sporty? There’s plenty to choose from. Go canoeing or play some tennis or try Thai Chi, Pilates or a special Stay Fit training? Alternatively treat yourself to some real pampering in the wellness?
  • Also fun: hire a bike or e-bike and tour the island. Great for all the family. Feeling hungry after all that exercise? Get a wrap or burger in the delightful street food zone.
  • And yes those famous enchanting sun sets happen here every evening. Make those moments even more magical with a romantic dinner by the sea at the Oliva restaurant.
  • Order your meals or groceries online with the handy Valfresco Direkt service and have these delivered direct to your pitch or accommodation.

The surrounding of Camping Krk Premium Resort

It’s always nice to say you’re going to Krk, but being there is even better! This beautiful Croatian island may have a name that’s unpronounceable, but the countryside there is really irresistible. Full of green, lush hills and rugged land with rocks, villages that look like time has stood still and well hidden secret little beaches. There is a seperated nudist beach next to the campsite.

Some tips for your holiday at Camping Krk Premium Resort in Krk

  • How do you get to Krk island? By car of course. There’s a bridge that connects the island to the mainland. Rather fly? Rijeka Airport is 28 kilometres from the campsite.
  • The historical town of Krk is within walking distance of the campsite. Just follow the footpath along the coast and you’ll pass through the old town gates in just 15 minutes. The 12th century Frankopan castle is the main attraction , although those terrced bars look very tempting as well.
  • You’ll find the narrowest street in the world in the picturesque village of Vrbnik: the houses on the left side of the street are separated by those on the right by just 40 cm.
  • Top tip for on the water: a boat trip to the island of Plavnik. With a little luck the dolphins will swim along with you.
  • Fancy a day out close by? Head for the child friendly beaches of Punat with its pleasant places to eat. There’s lots of adventure here too. Hoist yourself into an antique diving outfit ( you know, the one with those enormous helmets) and stroll along the seabed to admire sea stars, crabs and fishes.
  • A little further afield , but well worth the visit are the Plitvice lakes. An incredibly beautiful national park full of lakes and waterfalls. Even the kids think it’s amazing. Put on some sturdy walking shoes and get ready for the hike of a lifetime!
  • Looking for a little peace and quiet? Take a short boat trip from Punat to the tiny island of Kosljun. There’s a beautiful old monastery built in 1480, where Franciscan monks still live. So… shhhhhh!
  • Nearest airport: Rijeka (RJK) at 27 km
  • Second nearest airport: Pula (PUY) at 152 km
  • Third nearest airport: Triëste (TRS) at 160 km
  • Bus station: 3,5 km
  • Area: flat
  • Nearest city/village: 2 km
  • Nearest sea: beside the sea
