- For a little history and culture, visit the islands main town the beautiful old city of Krk (25 km). Wander its ancient, narrow cobbled streets and admire the old Roman remnants, the Frankopan Castle and the famous Church of the Assumption.
- Beatles fans can live out their ultimate fantasy and take a ride in a yellow submarine in the pretty port of Malinska (11 km). See fishes and the creatures that live on the seabed from close up. Wait….is that an octopus in front of us?
- Want to combine a little culture with a day at the beach? Then go to Baska (40 km). Stroll through its narrow streets, past old stone houses to admire the old Christian archeological sites from the 5th century. Then head for Baška beach and unwind by the cool, clear waters of the Adriatic sea.
