Rab (named after the Island itself) is a charming medieval town located on a peninsula that juts out into the sea, between the Gulf of Santa Eufemia and the port of Gradska. Explore its main streets such as Donja, Srednja and Gornja ulica. In Rab centre you’ll find beautiful religious and civic buildings, one of the most interesting being the fifteenth-century Palazzo Dominis, with splendid Renaissance windows and an elegant portal. Take some time to relax in Komrča park with its shaded trees, perfect for a family picnic.

Rab is famous for its beautiful sandy beaches on the Lopar peninsula, but you can also find more secluded rocky beaches too, as well as several naturist spots. The largest and best-known sandy beach in Lopar is so called Rajska (Paradise) Beach. It's almost 2km long and there are many tourist facilities to avail of. There is a lot to do too here, from beach volleyball, to aquaparks, parasailing and beach parties. Rajska (Paradise) Beach is about 14 km north of Rab town and should definitely be on your must-see list.
